How Are Tergo Cloths Used? |
Window Cloth
Uses: Windows (inside and out), mirrors, car windows, light fixtures, crystal, jewellery, and glass and wood furniture
- Wet, wring out the cloth, and use only damp.
- This cloth will clean and remove dust, dirt, grease, grime and any residues of previously used cleaners.
Cleaners leave a residue or film on products and that is what the dirt is attracted and adheres to. Some cleaners have oils in them and that's what causes streaking. Also when using a spray cleaner you inevitably end up cleaning the whole surface even if there is only one small area that is dirty. With TERGO you only need to wipe the dirtied area.
- As you clean a surface you are taking into the cloth the grime of that surface. Simply hot water rinse, wring and it's ready for the next surface.
- When the cloth is dirty, simply hand wash, or machine wash with flat sheets (not with towels or clothes that leave lint) and periodically, you boil the cloth to open fibers and release what the fibres are holding.
- When you use this cloth on your car windows, they stay cleaner longer and the rainwater beads off the glass because there is no residue for the dust particles in the rain to stick to. No more separation of lights in night driving as there are no more oils on the window to cause that.
- The original window cloth is finished on all sides
- The original large size window cloth gets you through cleaning job quicker. It is also easier to wring for people with larger hands
Optical
Size: 16 cm x 16 cm (new cloth = 20 cm x 20 cm)
Used to clean eyeglasses (dry for plastic lenses, damp for glass lenses), CD’s, optical and cameral lense

Duster/Multi
Size: 32 cm x 32 cm
Developed for dusting (dry) and general cleaning (damp)
- Dry: Plants, computer equipment, electronics, furniture, knickknacks, picture frames and glass, light fixtures
- Use this cloth dry to dust. Feel the pull the fibres create. It pulls the dust particles into the cloth. It prevents that fine white dust from escaping into the air to return later. You will see your dusting schedule become less and less. It does a fantastic job on electronics and computers. The dust will not escape from the cloth, so shaking it out does not release. You must rinse in hot water to release the dust and dirt down the sink.
- Wet: Wring out and shake out the cloth to remove excess water. It’s the cloth that does the work. If you have jellied fingered furniture, you may use damp to clean. Use on your lampshades, venetian blinds, dusting nic-nacs, general cleaning bathroom sinks, taps, counters, window screens (be sure to wipe both sides), wipe furniture down, leather goods, removes spots in carpets, use in vehicles to wipe down interior or exterior. Again, as you clean a surface, rinse, wring and away you go again. Cleaning instructions are the same for all our cloths and you only launder when they are dirty.
- Wet uses – window screens (be sure to wipe both sides)

Scrubbie
Size: 32 cm x 32 cm
Takes the scrub out of cleaning
- This is a heavy duty cloth and takes the effort out of where you need to scrub. The Multi/Duster will do the job, but you do have to apply elbow grease if areas have build up. With the scrubbie you just wipe.
- Use on your tub and shower enclosures, floors, walls, sinks no comet or vim.
- When you get this cloth wet, the scrub side stays only damp and the backside carries excess water.
- The ridging causes a heat friction and your hand pushes the water from the back side like a suction cup. This is how the technology of this cloth works.
- Wipe your shower down when you are finished and you never have to go back in to clean.
- Recommend a separate scrubbie for the polishing and maintenance of silver.

Kitchen
Size: 32 cm x 32 cm
Designed for the fats and greases in the kitchen. Brings the natural shine back to appliances with a wipe
- Fantastic on stainless steel appliances
- This lighter scrubber for the kitchen was designed as a tighter knit with light scrubbing edges.
- This is for assisting in the kitchen on your counters and stoves. No more cleaners needed.
- The glass cover on the back of the stove cleans with a wipe.
- Continually rinsing as you go releases the greases and fats gathered from the kitchen.
- Traditional cotton cloths roll over the surfaces and you need to assist with a cotton cloth in one hand to push wipe the crumbs into the other hand. And if you feel your surface it has a sticky feeling after using a cotton cloth. Use Tergo and you see the crumbs go into the cloth and all the surfaces are clean and shiny.
- You can even do dishes with this kitchen cloth. When finished doing dishes rinse very well to remove the dish soap from the cloth.
